xbox 360 not working in 7th heaven

As per title says
I can use my xbox controller in many pc games (resident evil for example) without any issue,. only when i wanna play FFVII i am forced to use it via keyboard because my xbox controller is not recognized at all by 7th heaven. anybody managed to find a solution?
