Yuffie first encounter issue

Hello everyone,

Looking for some community wisdom right there.

So I'm using 7th heaven with 80% of the available mods, mainly graphic upgrades. I made the recent updates.

I have a kinda sad problem during the first encounter with Yuffie :

The fight goes fine (I have read posts regarding bugs here from long ago), but then I reach the little cutscene where you have to give the correct answers to recruit her :

- I can give her the first answer, she then jumps away and say she will not loose again while punching in the air.
- And that's it, she keeps punching the air for all eternity and I can't do anything else, game does not crash

I have had similar behavior with a couple merchants in the past, animations looping for a few seconds before they speak, but never infinitely like this. This time tho, it's more of an issue.

So I tried :

- Deactivating the Yuffie models (no change) or selecting a different model for Yuffie (during the cutscene, the model is the field one I think) : model is properly changed but the glitch still occurs.
- Checked my loading order as per the tutorial
- Crying and raging because stupid packs of mini-trees keep spawning instead of Yuffie

Would be happy to get some advice right there.

Sorry for the double posting, just thought it was worth mentionning that :

- ff7_opengl.cfg has direct_mode = on and Extra Folders has "direct" typed into it

- I tried deactivating the Field models mod completely, going back to the vanilla models, and the issue still occurs.

I have no idea what feature might be causing this.
