AC Custom Models

hmm.. can you tell me what did you did when you downloaded the custom driver??
step by step will surely help..  :-D

Well, first I searched for it. When I downloaded it....
- I pasted everything.. EVERYTHING in it in my Final Fantasy 7 folder where ff7.exe is
- I opened .cfg and changed the two 0's into 1024 and 768 respectively.
- I double clicked one of the register file (the one without the 64 bit or vista)
- I then started running ff7.
- Poof... nothing
 
hmm.. right click ff7.exe, then properties..
click compatibility.. then change it to windows xp sp2..

It says I can only change it to:

- Windows 95
- Windows 98/Windows Me
- Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)
- Windows 2000

I dont see Windows XP sp2 there.. Oh yeah, I also forgot to tell you. I didn't pacth my ff7 with Saint's High Res.. Cause whenever I do, everytime I boot my ff7, my screenm would just blink once. Then it will bring me back to my desktop.So I skipped that patch.
 
nah, you don't need that one..
aali's custom driver is like a all in one package..
hmm..
try putting it in windows 95..

Nope.. still wont work. I also tried the rest but.. still nothing.

Anyone out there, please help me. Dont give up on me. I'm not the only one experiencing this problem

I guess this is all too good to be true. Maybe that's one reason why I can't fix any of these. BUT PLEASE DONT GIVE UP ON ME.

if you don't mind.. try posting your problem in aalis custom driver thread..
coz i think the custom driver only supporys vista..
try to ask him if he has one for xp..

Wow.. I didn't know that it only supports Vista. Anyway, I'll do that but in the meantime, I will post my problems with my Cloud. You know how to upload photos here?

That's why I got so frustrated and so desperate to make it work.. I dont know what went wrong. Don't you think it has something to do with reformatting?

Well, I was playing ff7 2 - 3 weeks ago.. suddenly, a friend of mine sent me a message through Yahoo Messenger. I didn't expect it to be a virus. Perhaps you could call me gullible or a fool or a person who has a very low IQ. But seriously, I didn't know it was a virus cause the way how the virus was written is the exact way how he writes messages and how he talks. Anyway, there it started. So I had to reformat it.

You can Quote by clicking the button 'quote' on someone else's message  :-D

Yeahp!  :-D But after checking my characters, I saw my Cloud as the APZ Cloud (the way how it should really be). And then of course his other party members, Barret and Aerith. Both Cloud and Aerith have textures. But Barret's texture is just all black. That's Timu's Barret by the way. But before I had someone to reformat the computer for me, Barret looks fine.

No prob!! You've been helping me for like... the WHOLE DAY!  :-D :-o

coz mine works fine.. im using a vista 32-bit os..
maybe just the custom driver's the problem then..

have you tried posting on aalis custom driver thread??

Yeah maybe.. but I re-installed everything the way how I installed it.
Maybe it IS the custom driver..

Well no but I did give him a personal message.Do you think that would do?

Maybe my ff7 is just suck-ish. Maybe its not that updated. My FF7 is just 1.02
 
i think it's not exe..
has little chance to get replies in pm..
just post in his thread.. so that other guys that have experties in this field can help you..  :-D

well.. im off.. till next time cronus.. just going to get some sleep.. maybe some food to eat too..   :-)
