[FF7] Original and Outdated Tutorial - Bootleg Configurator

Also, in the vicinity of wall market, graphics are a bit glitchy. First the black screen between zones freezes for 1-2 minutes. And some textures are missing (like the ground at some places), so it's just all black.

Oh and also, when I entered a battle it crashed. My crash.dmp is more than one giga and a half, so I can't show it anywhere, but the APP.LOG (the end of the file) gives:

Hmm, now that I relaunch the game, everything looks fine. Was it a memory problem? I guess it means it's going to happen everytime I play then.

Hell, i'm new to modding FF& s bare with me. The game runs pretty smooth. My only problem is that the HQ Aeris does not work properly. Her character model appears but all white without any texture. How can i fix this?

Will this latest version of the bootleg fix the missing text of the flash backs when used in re translation and lost wing you know the parts where clouds talks to himself.
 
I don't have the text to add into that scene.
The setting exists in the Menu Overhaul installer.
I'm not sure if there is a way to disable the missing text once it is enabled.

Has anyone tested running Touphscript again with the option disabled?
Is Toupschript able to toggle the missing text on and off?

It was recompiled with a different compiler since the old version is detected as a virus on quite a few virus scanners here are the differences

Other then the fact less virus scanners detect it as a virus there is no change.
I really do need to rewrite this i am just having a hard time finding the time at the moment (i used to use cheatengine to make this but i no longer do so i will need to rewrite this in ASM at some point).
 
I'm currently stuck at the Snowboardgame part, so I'm eagerly awaiting the next version, any hints on when it will be released?
 
I have a release candidate of Bootleg 0039 ready and tested.
I'm waiting on the Menu Overhaul m005b before I release Bootleg.
I want to make sure this thing supports the latest mods.
Hopefully it's just hours or days away.

Is it worth shoehorning this fix into Bootleg?
 
Well that sounds great, I have to keep learning for a test on Thursday anyway so I'm putting the game on hold and hopefully the new bootleg version will be released by then :) Thanks for all your efforts!

It's only a matter of days before I release the final version, but any help squashing bugs before then is greatly appreciated.

There are so many combinations of mods that's it's impossible for me to test everything.
I can't even predict the most used features.
I had no idea that the international installation and translation features would become so popular.
I have no way to test that at home, so I rely on y'all for feedback.
 
I wouldn't mind testing Bootleg RC1 but my dodgy vista system has a corrupt net. 2.0 which means i won't be able to even use Bootleg which requires Microsoft .net 2 after the official release until i have fixed this issue :/ at the moment after a month of trying to fix it still crashes :'(,

It always happens after a while in the match, maybe after beating him? I'm not sure :)

I think your problem is your battle.lgp needs to be fixed by re-installing the Menu Overhaul Application. That should fix your problem. :-)

I recently discovered some more damaged files in the Remix version of battle.lgp.
I believe this is the source of battle scene crashes.
I've altered Bootleg to no longer use damaged Remix archives.

The Remix will be history soon!
