Yeah, that was the first thing I tried. That doesn't work, Mode switching can't be disabled that way.
Your choice, but it's not going to magically work without doing itOh, a complete uninstall? I really don't want to do that.. I was lucky enough to get the game working the first time, I don't want to undo that incase I can't get it working again.
Done.Download DLPB_Tools.zip
Done, hopefully. I put those files here: (FExtract the "DLL_in" folder and "Mult.dll" to your game folder.
Did this, although I already had it to begin with inside the DLL_in folder*.Download FF7anyCDv2.dll.
*Yep, did this. Here's whats in my DLL_in folder now: FF7anyCD.dll, FF7anyCDv2.dll, Hext.dll, Hext_Reademe.txt, Multi.dllPlace "FF7anyCDv2.dll" into the "DLL_in" folder.
Did this, and I didn't need to- it was already there. It says:Add the line load_library = Multi.dll to ff7_opengl.cfg.
You do not need two times the same DLL.Uh, not sure I really understand that one. So here's what I've done according to the FAQone.Done, hopefully. I put those files here: (F
/Games/Steam/FFVII/SteamApps/common/FINAL FANTASY VII/>>(I put them here)<<Did this, although I already had it to begin with inside the DLL_in folder*.*Yep, did this. Here's whats in my DLL_in folder now: FF7anyCD.dll, FF7anyCDv2.dll, Hext.dll, Hext_Reademe.txt, Multi.dll
Maybe I have to remove FF7anyCD.dll?Did this, and I didn't need to- it was already there. It says:
# Load Multiple DLLs
load_library = Multi.dll
YESOn thing that was changed in the FAQ: Place "Mult.dll" into the root folder.
Is this still right?: (F/Games/Steam/FFVII/SteamApps/common/FINAL FANTASY VII >>(I put them here)<<
NOOr does it go into the DLL_in folder?
So that DLPB thing I download, I need to create a "DLL_in" subfolder inside? Shouldn't I be extracting files from it and putting them in my FINAL FANTASY VII folder somewhere? There are two different versions, one of DLPB (90 kb) and one of Kranmer (4 kb).
DLPB's needs a subfolder "DLL_in" in which other DLLs are there.
Kranmers needs a subfolder "LOADR" in which other DLLs are there.
Copy missing DLLs best in both folders ...
I forget what the problem was here but I'd suggest just restarting with a fresh installation and make sure it's not to a system directory (if it's to the C: and not a folder you added yourself just assume it's a system directory). Run Kompass63's converter here -> http://www.file-upload.net/download-8615002/FF7_GameConverter_0.10b.exe.html, and I'd suggest installing Aali's new driver right after, 8.1b. The converter installs the LOADR folder with the .dlls you need for the insert disk issues. Just unzip Aali's file and copy everything into the games install directory and run the .reg file. Then you can run the Reunion for any MO mods and stuff you want. Then just configure your setting in the ff7_opengl.cfg. All you need are the resolution settings, and change the texture cache to 1024 (instead of 256). That's really all there is to it.Ah, okay.
Its still not working, though.
