all else is running ok but cid is white and start menu screen is white and i have no idea why... reinstalled game and bootleg 4 times and it's the same so do u know what could cause this or how to fix it?

That's not one of the Cloud models included with Bootleg.
Have you installed any other mods?
Are you using an official 3 CD-ROM version of FF7?

1.it's ac model          2.only ac models in battle i was using Aali's lgp/unlgp Program to add models, all other are supported by bootleg i checked on bootleg list       3.Yes

You might have a corrupt model file with missing or misconfigured textures.
The Kula Wende AC models are not supported on this site.
They are known to have problems.

Yea but it still doesn't explain start menu white screen and it was like that since 1 time i installed bootleg without ac models

What background image did you select when installing Bootleg?
Did you close all programs and folders-- including anti-virus software-- before running Bootleg?
Did you install to a non-system folder?

The background image is located in the mods folder here:
 .\mods\Bootleg\menu\buster_00.png

Is this file present?
Is your mods folder set to Bootleg?

i selected buster in red...my antivirus i always on in tray all other is closed...and i installed game on system folder but mods are not...the background is there in .\mods\Bootleg\menu\buster_00.png... bootleg is in the same place with mods on non-system folder...

In the Bootloader configuration disable options like SHADERS and POST-PROCESSING.
Make sure that the MODS folder is set to Bootleg.

The Cid model is a Kula Wende ripped AC model.
I can't offer support for that issue.

You have a new graphic card driver, which don't support some OpenGL features. I use for Nvidia the driver 320.49.

I will try rolling back my nvidia graphics driver, but what I don't get is that I had this up and running less than 2 weeks ago and it was working flawlessly.  Everything else in the faq doesn't really apply to me (all the proper windows popped during installation, so I know the custom driver is installed).  Thanks for responding to this post!  I will report back once I try it.

Rolling back the drivers to the latest nvidia official release (320.49) worked!  It bums me out that I cant use the most recent beta drivers to run this, so I will have to be constantly swapping back and forth to play other games, but it works now!!!

Thanks!

**UPDATE**

UGH. now the music isn't working.  The sound effects (being hit during battle and cruising through the menu) are there, but none of the game music is working.  I followed the FAQ for the sound related issue, but when I opened the zip folder I couldn't find the "LOADR" files it was referring to.

**UPDATE 2**
Found the LOADR folder (had 2 files inside: FF7AlwaysRun, FF7anyCDv2) and copied it to the DLL_in folder and I still don't have music.  I've run the ff7config and I can hear the playback options.

Did you extract the Multi.dll file and edit the line load_library = Multi.dll into your ff7_opengl.cfg?

Yes'm.  I copied over my Multi.dll file and the load_library line was already in my .cfg file.

I will give that patch a try and report back when I get a minute.  Thank you for your responses!

Mkay, I just wanted to make sure. Often times, people do skip over the reading, which has put me into the habit of asking questions when something isn't explained.

I tried Kompass63's patch and I still don't have music (just SFX), how do I provide the log? Where is it located?

FF7Music.ini and FF7Music.log are in "[Gamedir]\FF7Music" or in "[Gamedir]\ficedula"
app.log and ff7_opengl.cfg are in "[Gamedir]".

all 4 files could be interesting.

OK, I think I found the problem: I don't have a folder in my root path titled FF7_Music.

I'm sure this has to be why I dont have music.  Umm... how do i fix this?

**UPDATE**

Nevermine, I'm an idiot.  How do I share a document here? the .ini is pretty meaty and I dont have a .log file in my \ficedula folder.
