FFVII DVD Resolution in 1997

Wow.... I'd love to own that. I wonder if there's any way we'd get some direct rips....
 
If I can get the dvd, I can extract it in perfect quality, in fact I can extract it so there is no loss and it remains mpeg2.  But I am guessing it would need a new encode anyway if I was updating it to 1280*896

Hope we can get this somehow that would be awesome!

sorry I was just looking for an ac adapter for my recently acquired psone... and I stunbled upon this, as much I want to have a look at this, I wondered if it was a known dvd, and if someone has it....
(PM me if you do and don't want to say anything in public about it)

because I'm always looking for detailed references for a rebuild...
(Oh I did also found a huge collection of final fantasy stuff somewhere, pretty much any game ever released in original packaging plus hardware... for a mere $ 14.900
I'm not interested in that by the way  ;D

As I said, if two other people either chip in $500 with me, or more people chip in, I would buy it and rip it. But I don't think that'll happen with it being audit season and all.
 
Haha wow, I can't believe this exists, and that almost nobody knows about it.

I am in contact with the guy on ebay, I can only hope he allows my compromise and offer :)  If not, we are buggered and the new FMV will remain where they are.

I just went to thelifestream.net. They're selling a PSX copy of VII for $299.99 Really? You can get a freakin new console for that price. So glad I still have my PSX copy. Exciting news about the DVD though  :roll:
 
It says in returns: " 7 days money back, buyer pays return shipping" so if someone could buy it then quickly rip it and send it back for a full refund?!  ::)
