Just looks like the main XIII is on Steam. I guess they'll decide later if it's worth porting the others based on the reaction to this.
I'm still waiting for FFIX...
I'm still waiting for FFIX...
Looks like it's time for another FFIX run.IX is my favorite and I would love a PC version of this game. It could be beautiful. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=551612
This is probably the only reason I'll buy it, but not until it goes on a steam sale or something.I'm pretty sure part of the reason they're doing this is to determine the viability of newer releases on PC.

o_o *groan* I went ahead and bought it. I've never played it and don't know if I'll regret this or not. Not as cheap as the PS3 though.
You know as well as I do that the only message that will send to them is that it is okay to produce mediocrity because people will buy it regardless. I think it's sad what's happened to this game series... I remember when a new FF game was a preorder and thrill just waiting for the release day. Now I'm here modding Final Fantasy VII and playing FF VII-X because I find they still haven't been surpassed.I hate that i will end up buying these terrible games, Just so Square knows that there are PC gamers out there, who would like to play JRPGs..
I suppose i should give it a chance, i only played 3 hours of XIII and shut it off because i would rather do other things haha
About the first part of the series... just judging by the character developement... I'm sorry to let you down but you will...o_o *groan* I went ahead and bought it. I've never played it and don't know if I'll regret this or not.
looool...and playing FF VII-X...
We're sending a message that the current direction FF is going is, at least, ok, and will make a profit. I dunno, but I duobt the developers aim for mediocrity when making a new FF. But at the end of the day it's the sales that matters for the shareholders and the higher ups, not the quality. They have the final words, and looking at the sales, they may as well push the developers in a certain direction. You know as well as I do that the only message that will send to them is that it is okay to produce mediocrity because people will buy it regardless.
