Maybe it is because you are messing with skeleton info. New version should make it. My host is (again) down, so here is link Leviathan v0.22.
It never happened to me, whatever i tried, i could not get size beyond 10kb.
 
Skeleton Info?  Aside from Hex Editing, I wasn't aware of a way to edit the actual skeletons yet.  I've been making do with the existing ones.  Tseng is modeled on the first Reno's skeleton.

I'd send you the file to examine directly, since I haven't gotten into Hex-editing or whatnot yet, but I don't know if you'd want a file that big.
 
Delete the old [usermove.dat] file (if you want to) and try it with version 0.22. If it happens again, then hmm ... no idea.

You can send me files max 1,5 mb, maybe 2mb. But not much often. If you were thinking about sending me battle.lgp, then no way. I have 10mb limit :)

Ok, I belive, but try it with new version, if it happens again please.
 
I tried using the new version to save a new pose to that file, andf it bloated up to over a gig. I trashed the file and I'm starting from scratch...1 gig was ridiculous. :\

Not quite as much a challenge as Tseng, but then again, I'm still working on rearranging the hair.... ::twitch::

...And now it's not saving poses at all, anymore.

Alright....  I tried fiddling with the poses again, and I got it to save a pose.  I worked on it some more, and when I tried to save it once again, it erased the previous save, and the 8kb file suddenly bloated to....

*drumroll*

279,994kb!

Ok now, i made new version, that should have none of those problems. Filesize should be 800kb forever. I'll try to upload it in the evening.

Wait a minute.  It was originally 8kb, not 800!  You misplaced the decimal point just a littlebit. :P
 
I think he means that the Usermove.dat will always be 800kb; regardless of how many poses you've stored.  As in, instead of creating poses from scratch, it'll now be modifying the "default" poses stored in each slot.

...Then again, I could be wrong.
 
Yeah you are right ShinRa. It will be 800kb from the time you store first skeleton.
But I'll try to fix it, with that variable size. It would be better. But, i still cant find that bug. And still no time. I have to stop going for parties in the week.
 
800kb Doesn't mean that much to me.  I start getting twitchy when support files start increasing in size by orders of magnitude, though.  Heh.  I mean, the copy of Sum of All Fears I recently got is only 309 mb.  I've got entire albums that take up less space than that files was.   :o

Also, will an existing usermove.dat still work with the new version?

And no, old version wont work, sorry. I was thinking about it, but if it grown to sizes like that i dont know what errors are inthere. But ill create some proggie to transfer those saved positions.
 
You know... I always get 404 errors whenever I try to grab the latest version of Leviathan...

I don't think the server you use is very USA friendly.  Your Avatar still isn't showing up for me, too.  But, I've never had problems downloading Leviathan.
 
I know that host.sk (which is here, in central europe) has many problems, and is slow (but is free :), so i placed new leviathan on some other, so i thought itll be better. Could you guys suggest me some free server which you have good experience with ?
