I'll try it right away! :) I'll just change world_us.lgp with magic.lgp right?? I'll try. And the cmd.exe method also worked for me so thanks man. I can finally mess with summons now. Hehe ;D
 
opps i think i made a small mistake on the script before (i am doing this from memory), im very sorry it should have been

and for magic.lgp you just do this

Also nice to hear you got the CMD line working.
 
I tried using the .bat files and I tried dragging magic.lgp over to the unlgp.exe but it just flashes fast and it closes fast and nothing happens. I also have the extract.bat the same folder as magic.lgp and unlgp.exe and I made a new folder named temp also in the same folder. Wonder what I'm doing wrong??
 
could you post a screenshot of the folder where you are doing this, also try these .bat files,
just extract all of this to the folder where magic.lgp is

just put those 3 files in
the data/battle folder then run extract.bat and it should extract magic.lgp to the TEMP folder
 
Wait I'm not going to drag the magic.lgp to the temp folder?? How stupid of me. I just tried to double click extract.bat and it worked. Hell sorry to be such a pain man it already worked. Many thanks. :) Can't believe its that simple.
 
glad to see you got it working, and yes i made that script so it copies magic.lgp into the temp folder and then it extracts it then delete's the copy (this is because if you don't delete the copy it would be in the new LGP you build) leaving just the files, you can edit the files then to repack just make a rebuild.bat like i stated before (and put the rebuild.bat in the same folder we put the extract.bat)
its very simple, the hard part is doing it for the first time and finding the right DOS commands for what you want to do.
