He says NVIDIA recently started dropping support for x32 bit programs
Huh??  They dropped 32bit OS support a year or so ago, but I don't see why this would affect 32bit programs.  Indeed, dropping 32bit application support would be an incredibly dumb move on their part, assuming it's even possible.

I'm just throwing out possible reasons as to why it wouldn't work. Otherwise, I have no idea as to what's going on. We just want to mod the font...

I have windows 10 64 bit with a 1070 and it works fine, you probably placed the folders/files incorrectly or didn't download the right packages

Do you have Tonberry Enhanced v2.04 installed to your parent ff8 directory properly?  make sure you don't have it in a weird duplicate location.  Also, maybe try vc 2010 both x86 and x64 versions.  Also, make sure the 2013 vc++ pack you get is for SP1 due to it being the 'last' one released for that version.  Make sure you install the dx9c from the steam link in the MCINDUS guide, and run DXSETUP once it's unpacked in your temp folder.
Let me know if any of this helped!

It looks like Tonberry don't work with the Remaster. I'm the only one? I wanted to change the Battle Backgrounds and the worldmap, but nothing happens.

Yeah tonberry was made for directx 9 and the new version doesn't use it. The community is working on a solution. For now we know we can replace the textures that the remaster has already replaced. Might be more we can do.

Good Morning everyone,

I'd like to know if I can download these hashmaps without downloading tonberry enhanced. Do I need the new directory system the topic is talking about? Whats more I'm beginner as for modding is concerned, so I'm trying to do things short and simple.

Thanks for responding and thanks for your hard work.

Hope there will be mods soon available for remastered version

Why do I have this problem? Any solution?

Hi Sir,

I'm following the instructions on how to install the Tonberry mod and the hashmaps
But I just cannot find my ''textures'' folder in the FFVIII game folder. It doesn't have it. :(

I believe I'm using 2013 Steam version.

I'm having trouble downloading this. It keeps saying "doc-00-6o-docs.googleusercontent.com. "

Hey guys, I've tried to look for an answer to this but have been unsuccesful. I have placed the contents of the SeeDReborn folder into the ff8 folder and merged the files. I have the hasmap in the hasmap folder and the textures in the texture folder, with all the other hashmap and textures for the other mods (that do work). For some reason, the text is just the same as the original game. I'm at a loss!

Cheers, Ohme

can anyone tell me if I have to uninstall version 10.0.40219 of VC ++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) because when I try to install the one provided here it tells me that I have the updated version installed, I ask it since I recently installed windows and I had a beckup of the mods tomberry steam ff8 but it does not work gives me error 0xc00007b but without mod installed from the beginning it fumnitions me without errors. so do I have to uninstall the updated visual C ++ to make it work with tomberry again?
thank you even if you don't answer I think I will wait a couple of days and then I un-install them and try with them here.
