Really want to buy FF7 with fully mods

Hi, everyone,

I am a big FF7 fan from China, I really confused with the FF7 MODS and have no idea how to use so many amazing FF7 mods,

so I post this thread to call for help, could anyone here pls help me to do this job?

I would like to buy your FF7 installed with all the best MODS, you may copy them in disks or mobile hard disk drive, 

I will pay for the game, mods,  disks or hard disk drive and the freight charge as well.

If anyone  would like to do me this favor , I really very appreciate,

I applaud your ingenuity, but I think considering how well you write in English this is either a) ridiculous because you could buy rereleased ff7 and download it, mod it up in a few days at worst.  or b) a scam

and it will always be

c) illegal

Unless someone sells you their original 1998 discs, and a copy of windows 8 along with a hard drive that has all necessary components installed, which I will do if you paypal me $10,000 USD upfront first and allow 2-6 weeks for shipping.

There is nothing illegal about selling a preinstalled copy of FF7 if the original discs are included, or even a full set of mods regardless. If he is in fact in China (which his older posts seem to corroborate), he also can't buy rerelease; S-E is not selling it there. This request seems fairly reasonable, albeit probably more work than anybody wants to put into it.

Wow had no idea SE not selling rerelease in China. Why? Seems like a very large market I'd want to have my product available in.

I've never understood S-E's business decisions. I'm not entirely convinced they even do. What I can say is that the rerelease includes four languages: English, Spanish, French, and German. I'm not sure if the game ever even got an official Chinese translation (seems unlikely, as the Playstation was never officially released in China), but if the rerelease isn't in the language, it makes sense not to release in that territory.
 
But can a person in China physically not download any of those versions? I was assuming the OP wanted to play the game in English, since his English is quite good. Always good practice playing a game in a well translated language. And we just happen to have a new free translation about to hit the public.

I bet there's someone around here that speaks English and Chinese and would help this guy mod his own legit install for free.

So it just seems like a strange request to me. Not necessarily a scam at all, but I'd rather help you for free than get involved trying to make a piddly few dollars off someone else's hard work. And furthermore, if you have a modded version of the game I guarantee at some point IT WILL break and you'll have to redo it.

The rerelease got a Japanese version last month, actually... I totally forgot about it. I dunno what (if anything) it has to offer over the 2012 version, but for character maps it might at least make a usable base for a Chinese version.

Sure it could. The original Japanese versions is essentially a bunch of palette swaps (which the old US version could do) to get the extended characters. The tricky part is making the characters large enough to be recognizable. Chinese has more symbols than Japanese, but I must confess ignorance to how many are publicly used. There are 2000 "official" Japanese characters used in public media like newspapers and public notice signs.

Sorry, my english sucks as it is not my mother language.

I know you may not trust me, it is does not matter, typing english really difficult to me, so I am not able to express myself well.

I have made a research on the mods, but only for the battle field models, never working for the background mod.

what I want say is everytime I use bootleg and install, I can not able to run the game, computer says the graphic problem, for this I tried the old driver for my graphic card, but it still not working. But god!!! I really want to have these great mods, so I tried to use the lgp tools, img2tex .... many many tools, and successfully make custom AC  cloud working, But I really want to have a perfect FF7 just like all you guys have, like what you showed on youtube, by the way, I watched the Install Tutorial for Bootleg Configurator , and I am sure I have done all the steps you showed in the video, but really not working.

So , I am here to say , I really need help, I tried many tools, tried many many times, but never work. IF  anyone here can share me his game, and assure me I can successfully run the game in my computer, I can pay, or other ways to repay, such as I can offer some paying member account of some online storage.

To tell the truth, I am from China, you may check my IP for my older posts, now I use other IP because I use VPN now for faster browseing.

FB, TWITTER, YOUTUBE is forbidden in China, people in china have to use vpn, I can visit Qhimm with China IP, but very very slow.

I tried some ways to install mods, some mods work, some mods never work as the graphic problem, I do not know why, I use Nvidia GT 130, I even tried old drive, but still not working.

my english sucks, I can not learn all the ways to patch mods as you did, so I am here to call for help.

Pls trust me

I am not rich, $10000 is too much,  if anyother way can let me repay you , I will try my best.

Because pirate is everywhere in China, people just download online or pay 5RMB for a game, not only for PC but also for PS3 and XBOX 360.
 
The 10000 was a joke. Don't take that seriously.

The most legal way to do this is for you to obtain the 1998 PC version. To insure the highest level of mod compatibility it would need to be the US version. The most legal way to do that is likely going to involve eBay or something similar. I can't sell you my disks because they don't work. I won't make copies of them because that is illegal.

It WOULD be legal, yet somewhat shady, for someone here to buy a computer and the disks and ship it to you later. There are some pretty cheap laptops here that could run this game just fine. I would like to help, but I don't have the time to budget that all out.

No official Chinese translation,but some people make the CHS patch, you may check this picture.To be honest very few game have official Chinese translation, so there are many unoffical forums make mods or CHS patchs, such as game.ali213.net, bbs.3dmgame.com

First off, your English is good, so you should practice and it will only get better.

I bet someone smart (I'd have to learn how to do it) could just remote access your computer and set it up for you. That is service totally worth paying for but I strongly suggest you learn the mod programs because it is very likely you will either have to reinstall FF7 or you will want to change the mods you have installed in the future. 

The best way to start learning is to post your system specs (type of processor, type of graphics card, type of windows or operating system) and ask for personalized assistance.

I do not personally think it would be ethical to charge for this assistance, but if there is a bilingual English/Chinese ff7 pc mod expert around then maybe their services might be worth paying for.

I wish you would use this thread to learn to install and use the mods yourself by asking questions here when you run into problems. That is really what this board is for, it's not really supposed to be about money at all. I think if you got a lot of help from someone, and you wanted to donate money to them afterward, that would be OK.

I am available for questions in this specific case via PM in English. I do not usually return PMs for this type of assistance. So, if you can try to read my English I will try to be careful with words I use.

I tried hundreds times to install the bootleg mods, different ways, even different computers, but never working, really make me crazy,
everytime I run the game with bootleg, the computer says the graphic problems even use old drive,

So I have to use tools like lgp or tex2img to convert and patch the mods by myself, but some mods may work, the others mods never work and even may make the game crash, 9999limit break mod not work for the game with  CHS patch ........Avalanche mod not work because of the graphic problem.

I may reluctantly accepted the game without CHS patch to have all the great graphic mods as you have. but still work. really make me crazy

I know buying a FF7 with mods is illegal, if possible, if I could give you money and you buy a legal copy and then help me to patch all the mods and ship the game with mods to me by FEDEX
