I was tweaking with grimmys Tifa model (particularly on the Textures) so I think I might as well post my work in progress here..

Battle Model is here with field, chocobo and world version converted by JLOUTLAW.. have fun!
original model is by Grimmy..

the transparency in her hair actually fix itself for me when i installed it using bootleg. when i installed it myself without bootleg i got the see through her hair thing. I dont know if this help but i noticed that i didnt have that problem anymore right after i used bootleg to customize my battle.lgp instead of doing it myself.

Just finished the skin and the shirt, I'm planning to make an all new texture for the hair and other parts while on it I'll check on the tranparency issue, Ill still use the boots and gloves texture, they're really made and looks cool.
 
I'm glad to read that you will be addressing the hair. That and the face were the only thing that bothered me about this model (which is the one i'm using) Everything else so far is looking good! The face already looks 100% better (no disrespect to Grimmy!) Keep it up!
 
I'd like to ask, should tifa's hair be pitch black or with a little shade of brown??
 
I prefer black, but I think it has a shade of brown in canon
 
I guess I'll go with black with tiny bit of brown.. I find it hard to make a decent texture using only black and white colors..
 
Oops did not notice the boobs getting smaller, hehe I'll try to do something with it.. we cant have a tifa with small boobies right..

Lol.. of course, I'll see what I can do to enhance the size with texture editing, for now here is the latest update, just finished the hair texture, I havent tested it in game so I'm not sure if the tranparency issue still exists.

Like I said I havent been able to test the model in-game I dont have my FF7 with me right now I'll test this later when I get home then post some ingame pics here.. I hope the Transparency issue is fixed, I've redone the whole hair textures so it should work. anyway I'll get the ingame pics asap.

That would be cool, JLOUTLAW offered to test the model, but it wont hurt to have one more tester..

Mind if I ask, when you installed grimmy's tifa what did you use to recompile your battle.lgp?

I tested her in a few spots and took some screenshots which I am mailing to you now. I didn't run across any issues. The hair wasn't transparent for me. Also, I just use the "direct" folder and change the config to search in the direct folder first. I paste the files into direct-battle, and voila. No need to recompile anything.

The hair is fixed now but there are still other transparent part like her strap and other parts of her body so I'll try to fix it next.. theres also the problem with skirt thing, it messes up with the thighs every time tifa moves, any idea how I can fix this? I tried making the thighs thinner but tifa with thin legs is not as sexy..
