[REL] Grimmy's Tifa-Retex/Resized Parts

When I was adjusting this model in the past, I noticed the legs started out pretty thin to begin with, so every time I increased their width, I had to do the same for the skirt, but also make sure it didn't start looking ridiculous. (bigger legs equates a bigger behind after all?!) It's a bit of a dance, but it's possible to reach a nice happy medium with very minimal mesh breaking.
 
I think Xerox Tifa Battle Model is a ripped right ?
Anyway good Job your Grimmy Tifa Model was looking nice :)

zerox tifa model uses a head from kingdom hearts I think..
 
for the skirt if you add the skirt to the thigh model piece that way when it overlaps its skirt overlapping skirt. it may look more appealing

i still have that zero model and the coverted field model . i managed to fix skirt issue for the battle model but the main issue is that its riped i can never send anyone the fixed verson.
 
It's ok, I dont plan on using zerox ripped model, and I fixed it already thanks to omega's suggestion, at least its ok in kimera, I have yet to test it in game, I'm at work right so cant do that atm..

Well here's the completed work viewed in kimera, the skirt not as messy as before, I just need to test this ingame then ask for grimmy's permission then I can release this model..

Wow! Really love the new face texture a lot actually, I might keep the rest of my own edited model the same, but I would definitely use that head if Grimmy let's you release it. Let's hope you hear back form him. Awesome work again whitERaven!
 
Thanks, I enjoyed working on this I'll work on the field model next.. but it'll be easier since the texture is done already, just needs grimmy's permission.
 
Your Tifa model looks beautiful than the old one :)
I can't wait to see that model in my ingame play hehehe :p
 
Thanks :) :) I'll be releasing it once I'm permitted.. Now I'm looking for a next model to work on.. I'm not good at modeling so I'm looking for models that needs to be textured or needs enhancing.. any suggestions??

Can i have a Request ?
Can you Retexture too ?? Grimmy Yuffie Model :)
Because i like that Character :) All you have to do
is to Re Edit the face to be too cool like the old one ..
That's my only suggest .. And for your Tifa model ?
I Can't say anything to that model and i can't
suggest because for me its look perfect :)
All i can say is Good Work Men :)

I can't remember seeing a single denied re-texture request. and asking the original modeller for permission is more a formality than really necessary
you can always release it on trial and if he objects you can take it down

I second the request for the yuffie model. it's the only moderately good looking yuffie model we have and the face.. CHRIST

If I recall correctly the current public version of Grimmy's Yuffie is glitched beyond usuable due to an animation error.
Before you start texturing it I would ask PitBrat for his fixed version in case there may be some difference in the model he made to make it work.

Belay that seems you've already found out.

From the talk i had with grimmy before it sounds like hed be okay with people releasing his stuff. Of course still credit and ask him but if you release before he responds he probably wont have you take it down. Once this is done can i use this in knights of midgar? Also if its an animation error for yuffie then start with the vanilla model and swap out piece for piece.
