In your ffvii pc folder you'll find a file named ff7_opengl.cfg open that in note pad and change the x y values. remember to save it and then run the game.
You can and it will show a bunch of garble at the top of the text, that is probably what he is seeing. It uses the original tex files which have been modified by us which creates random colored pixels in the top left hand corner. Funny thing is that the installer should have stopped him from installing without aali's driver installed. If you are using Aali's driver you should not run ff7 config. That will undo the custom driver, right? But you cannot use this without the driver. I'm confused now.

oh definately, i read up on how to use the driver (though not how to configure it) so i know i have to run the registry, lol cause everytime i run the game without aali's driver, the entire land is just text with cloud standing on it (its like Disney's dream and our nightmareYou will also need to run the registry patch before you run the game. Methinks maybe i should talk to aali and see if I could add his driver to the installer.
Yeah, I had fixed them a while ago but they seem to have gotten lost at some point.yeah, i just find bars (not just limit but exp and others of the variation) to bright, specially for guys like me, whom are colorblinde
Must be an alignment problem. Crap that might take a while to fix.The letters are affected also in the low res install. Numbers seem to have horizontal lines under them, and letters had vertical lines next to them.
Any idea how that happened? They were aligned perfectly?Must be an alignment problem. Crap that might take a while to fix.The letters are affected also in the low res install. Numbers seem to have horizontal lines under them, and letters had vertical lines next to them.

Also people probably a temp fix for the text is to use the test from a previous version
Keep looking around and you will find tex files in a bunch of fun places. Lol j/k, i'm not sure why it does that. Better look into it, thanks for the tipwhy is sky_b.tex made in "C:\"? haha![]()
