I do not wish to have any text for team avalanche in the video. I feel it takes away from it somehow.
 
this is in xvid, do you have it in a lossless format, like huffyuv or lagarith?

So what's your take on using Square Enix's Logo instead of Squaresoft?
Pros: Cleaner, Shorter, Simpler, stays true to the FF series creator
Cons: Not the Original, No little Chocobos
 
Im sorry, I must have missed this. What Square Enix logo are you referring to?
 
It is ok, me and Kranmer have had a better idea :)  I will submit my final version soon.

As for Square Enix, you can't put that on FF7 as the merger had not happened then.

I consider this the final revision of mine. I used FF8 Eidos intro because as kranmer reminded me, it is better quality.  I have kept the FF7 eidos sound. 

This is h.264, if you can't play it, use VLC player.

This is going to need a small bit of work because the stupid Aspect ratio is causing problems in game.   Not a problem that can't be fixed though :)  You can use the one I sent in game too, if you want to try it.

I will iron out all the bugs in this one...

I like that one. I think we should use it. What is the resolution? I think we should have a higher res video then the original. Actually it looks like yours is higher res.
 
i like it as well, not intrusive at all. Though I think some mention of Team Avalanche and Qhimm forums should be made somewhere within the game. no doubt that this will spread quickly once the bombing mission is complete, and we already have people taking credit for this and it's not even finished yet.

Just my 0.02, i think the video looks great though.

The res is pretty much the maximum...  any more would be overkill.  The new one stands at 1280*960 which will mean no black bars.  I will perfect it and send.
 
Almost anything we put in there marking Team Avalanche could be edited out by the people stealing the work, so I dont much see the point. The only thing we could do was plaster it on a field background. And I am not willing to do that.

Ok it is done.  This can be used with latest aali driver as far as I know (and probably a few revisions before).

That looks kickass. My chief concern now is that the Squaresoft logo is as long as TWO others; this won't be an issue if the Square Enix video posted earlier is used though.

Why is this a concern? The videos are skipable.
