That looks kickass. My chief concern now is that the Squaresoft logo is as long as TWO others; this won't be an issue if the Square Enix video posted earlier is used though.

It's a concern because it looks awkward and unprofessional. When you play pretty much any other game, the logos before the title screen tend to be around the same length.
 
I am not quite sure what you are getting at though. He modified the eidos video. Not the squaresoft one.
 
I don't see it as an issue myself, if you mean that the second FMV is too long?  That's mainly because they wanted it to be, with the Chocobo scene...

I guess that can be left?
 
What I'm getting at is that with the Eidos logo shortened, and the TA logo similarly short, it seems like the Squaresoft logo ought also to be shorter.

edit: DLPB, If you want to go with "what they wanted it to be", wouldn't it make sense to use the Squaresoft logo from the PSX version? (that's also shorter, btw)
 
Yes but the squaresoft logo from PSX didn't use the chocobo's.  Actually where did that logo even come from?  Just made for PC?
 
You could also replace the sqlogo with a .01 second blank movie file

I agree it does look nice. The way there is partial reflection on the bottom of the words makes it even more cooler! :D
 
I think the horizon could be a smidgen more distinct.  The refletion flows a little too smoothly onto the actual logo.
