...and does the test say Fail before you check it? I specificly said that it won't work unless it says Fail.
The reason why I said ATI won't work is because, there is no 3rd party software to help you disable it. Nvidia has Rivatuner. ATI....I haven't heard of any program for it. So your solely dependent on what ATI does to their Driver. With Nvidia, you have a better chance at getting it working from driver to driver.
The Riva TNT patch is really an 8bit pallet bypass patch. Really has nothing to do with Nvidia's chipset video cards.
