Some systems don't like fullscreen mode.
Turn Fullscreen off.  Set the desired resolution.  Use the window position to hide the border around the window.
You can use Bootloader to easily alter the settings.

Those errors are normal for this version.  The Menu Overhaul ReTranslation is not completely compatible with mods like Aeris revival and Hardcore.  Those errors just mean that some scenes won't have the ReTranslated text.  The game will run fine.
 
Hey, thanks for being patient with me. Or not. I got the resolution sorted with trial and error, got my game loaded up all is well except a few things. Nothing thats stopping the game from working just a few pet peeves really.

So far what i've noticed, for my save points I chose the crisis core one, (Zacks Buster sword with the feathers swirling round it.) But for some reason I just have the default one in the game. I have checked bootleg to make sure my choices have saved which they have and my mods are all still green on the list so my selection should've been taken into account there.

Along the same lines I also chose Mikes blue flames for my limit break. (Advent style!) but again I just have the default orange vase shaped limit flames. I'm running Bootleg again just incase something didn't install right. Do you think that might be the case?

Everything else so far is ok, characters are well proportioned textures look smoother etc, it's just those few key choices that never seemed to mke it through. Do you think reinstalling will resolve those issues?

Edit; I know what's gone wrong it's the Trish AKA Mike file, for whatever reason it's not showing up properly is there another location I can download it from? I tried downloading it again from the big list of mods but it keeps saying it's not found...

i have a question...  i've been able to solve all my problems with FF7 so far, but the one thing i can't figure out is that not all of the NPCs have been updated to the new models. marlene for example isn't updated, along with child cloud and some others. any help?

I'm astonished to see such an amazing work done for Final Fantasy VII. Thanks for everything and for Bootleg.

I just finished downloading every mod Bootleg needed for everything I choosed, then, everything goes wrong :

Here's my system :
OS : Windows 7 64-bit.
C:\ : System.
D:\ : Data storage.
Antivirus / Firewall : Kaspersky PURE 9.1.0.124 (the same problem happens when I kill him)

And my BFE config :

Thanks for answering (I just saw the correct topic to post such questions, I'm sorry).

I did install FF7 in "C:\Jeux\FF7", but then, I tried to install it to D:\Jeux\FF7, and it's the same :(. I even followed your screencaps (http://tinyurl.com/843cwcf) by installing the mods in "C:\Jeux\FF7\Bootleg0038".

Maybe I'm doing something wrong here :
1- I run Bootleg.exe by clicking "Run Bootleg" in BFE. It's ok, right ?
2- I can leave both "FF7 Install Image" fields empty ?

About the FF7 Install Image, when I launch Bootleg, it says it can't find ff7.exe... because he created another directory "FF7" witch can only fail : C:\Jeux\FF7\FF7...

 I don't know what on Earth is happening there.

I'm new to the whole modding thing and I have a problem when I run the bootleg.  When I check the modlisting everything is either yellow or green.  After running the mod it gets "stuck" at Updating Avalanche GUI.. Now I say "stuck" because its been running for going on 2 hours and is still at the same spot.  The program isn't freezing it isn't giving me an error message hasn't failed.  I guess the question is what is wrong?  What do I do?
 
Check that all your mods with an exe (Avalanche GUI, FF7Music etc) aren't blocked :

Right click > Properties > Unblock.

Sadly, it didn't solve my problem but I'm pretty sure it will help you.
 
The .exe was blocked Lutherian would you suggest I restart the bootlegger?
 
Yep ! Now run BFE and then, if everthing if ok, click on "Run Bootleg". I cross my fingers...
 
How long does it normally take to run the bootleg i'm back to the same position Updating Avalanche GUI...and its "stuck" again.
 
It depends on your system. My old one took 15-20mins, but my new one now takes only a few minutes.

If you want all models to be updated you should select in the model section 'Bootlegged'
