All I can say is "...."
All I understand from all of that is "Sephiroth" lol.It was no problem.
It was an interesting battle for me.
Anyway, that version has pretty low quality vocal audio, so I wouldn't be surprised if a world-class musical theorist with perfect pitch couldn't hear the words...
The words are however:
Estuans Iteris
Ira Vehementi
Estuans Iteris
Ira Vehementi
Sephiroth

That's as much as I remember off the top of my head...(Yes, I got it mem-o-rized.)
Actually Sephiroth is the most misunderstood part of the entire song. All I understand from all of that is "Sephiroth" lol.It was no problem.

Oh wow... I did not know that of the origins of the word "Sephiroth". Hmm interesting. :roll:Actually Sephiroth is the most misunderstood part of the entire song. All I understand from all of that is "Sephiroth" lol.It was no problem.

For you to understand Sephiroth, you must understand all aspects of the Hebrew religion, understand numerology, and several other concepts related to the word "Sephirot" (Sephiroth being plural in most cases, which in Hebrew can denote multiple objects OR the drastic importance of a single object... it would be like referring to Masamune as "His swords" in English)
Safer-Sephiroth also has many possible meanings... direct translation being Book of Numbers, while indirectly (and erroniously) translated as Savior Sephiroth, and Sepher Sephiroth. The most likely, but still purportedly incorrect, being Seraph Sephiroth.
So unless you understood all of that, No, you do not understand that part of the lyric.
Hmm, that would be like some kind of subliminal message! Haha.I think the true meaning of Sephiroth in this song is "hey, we found this cool-sounding mystical Hebrew word we can use as the bad guy's name" :-D
Because I very much doubt that anyone at Square thinks we should understand Jewish mysticism to understand FF7's antagonist![]()
Ah, good catch. I thought I'd mixed something up somewhere..."Sepher Sephiroth" - Book of numbers
Unexplained biblical references probably give tetsuya nomura a hardon.
Unexplained and usually erroneous...Nomura gets hard-ons from unexplained references to all kinds of religions, Norse paganism being a firm favourite in FF7
If you go to finalfantasy.wikia.com, they have all the info of every final fantasy game. they the one is how i found out about the meaning of SephirothOh wow... I did not know that of the origins of the word "Sephiroth". Hmm interesting.
