It seems to me we couldnt get that guy's permission to use those images, also I want to do the original five dotted- hilt, not the compilation buster sword. Besides, it'll give me good practice to figure out how to do the rim/glare ligiht.

I dont think we should have a screen saying advent children, and i dont beleive we have rights to use that image of the buster sword.

I'd have to agree ALL work done on FF7 is copyright infringement there is no gray area...BUT with respect to Halkun I think he wanted to encourage you to do your own. and I definitely agree with him on this. I am trying myself to get better at 3d modeling and coding because talking someone hard earned work and using it for your enjoyment without there knowledge is wrong. With that said I think square enix/eidos turns a blind eye to these forums in often cases they link people to these forums but that "free pass" can only go so far we start ripping dissidia/crisis core/advent children ect. Thats going to far. Besides we dont know if the guy who made this image has some super copyright lawyer team available at his command :-D.

Here's something that I came up with. Keeping it simple, and straight forward. Also trying to keep it in line with the previous titles in the series. The logo could easily be the more stylized one with the meteor element. I just opted for the font only as it would be easier to rebuild. Would of coursel use a new buster sword in the VII style (not AC).

In my personal opinion, a mix of d33niz's black background and title combined with pyrozen's Cloud would be awesome.
